On June 16, 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued an Enforcement Letter (WEL-2023-02) to Mission Support and Test Services, LLC regarding deficiencies in implementing DOE’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 851) related to a safety incident that occurred when a vehicle caught fire while being hoisted on a lift in the Motor Pool Maintenance Facility at the Nevada National Security Site.
