On October 23, 2012, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Health, Safety and Security’s Office of Enforcement and Oversight issued an Enforcement Letter (WEL-2012-02) to Controlled Power Company related to an electrical shock near miss event that occurred during repair of a lighting inverter in the Radiological Laboratory Utility Office Building at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
