On November 30, 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued an Enforcement Letter (SEL-2016-02) to Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC expressing concerns regarding four security incidents involving the presence of classified information in unclassified waste streams that occurred at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas.
