On June 8, 2021, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued Enforcement Letter WEL-2021-01 to Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) for deficiencies in implementing DOE’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 851) associated with an event that resulted in a BSA subcontract worker falling through a skylight at Building 905, Magnet Assembly Building, at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
