On April 13, 2010, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Health, Safety and Security’s Office of Enforcement issued an Enforcement Letter to Amer Industrial Technologies, Inc. related to quality assurance deficiencies in the fabrication of safety significant drain pipe being supplied for construction of the Salt Waste Processing Facility at DOE's Savannah River Site.
