On May 27, 2011, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Health, Safety and Security's Office of Enforcement and Oversight issued a Consent Order to Washington River Protection Solutions, LLC (WRPS) for deficiencies associated with the WRPS' corrective action management program, radiation control program, and sealed radioactive source accountability and control program at the Hanford site. The contractor agreed to the Consent Order.
