The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Marine Energy Fellowship, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO), provides funding for current graduate or post-graduate students to work at selected host facilities for up to 12 months. Eligible current graduate students must be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program and conducting research in a marine energy topic as part of their thesis or dissertation. Eligible post-graduate students must have finished a degree within the last 24 months.
Applicants who would like to begin their fellowship in summer 2025 must submit their applications by Dec. 6, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET. Applicants who would like to start in fall 2025 must submit their applications by March 7, 2025, at 5 p.m. ET.
