Todd Brinson

Todd Brinson elected to pursue a career in civil service after retiring from the military where he spent 17 of 20 years serving in the Special Operations community. Prior to his role as the IM-60 Deputy CIO, he served as the Director of the Customer Advocacy and IT Service Management Office. Todd has over 15 years’ experience helping Federal CIOs develop and deliver cost effective, resilient, and secure services to meet customer needs. Specializing in IT Service Delivery, Todd uses that experience to build relationships with customers to understand their pain points and co-create services that meet their Use and Utility expectations. 

Todd earned his Master of Project Management (M.P.M.) at Penn State and he has been able to apply this specialized knowledge to planning and executing IT Services to meet customer’s needs successfully. Over the years, his strengths at the Department of Energy have garnered recognition for completing multiple highly visible and complex initiatives, despite being introduced to unconventional challenges.
