June 7, 2021On March 9, 2021 CESER Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity Cheri Caddy presented a briefing on DOE supply chain risk management programs at the third annual Japan-U.S. Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Conference for the Asia-Pacific Region. The conference was held virtually for the first time. The program emphasized the United States’ and Japan’s shared pledge to safeguard an open, interoperable, reliable, and secure cyber space while establishing a foundation to jointly address emerging cybersecurity threats with like-minded Indo-Pacific and European partners. The event was co-sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Caddy also served as the DOE representative to Japan-US bilateral dialogues on cybersecurity.
