Review of Oak Ridge Environmental Management Radiological Controls Activity Level Implementation
The purpose of this set of facility specific Independent Oversight targeted reviews is to evaluate the flowdown of occupational radiation protection requirements, as expressed in facility RPPs, to work planning, control, and execution processes, such as radiological work authorizations, including radiological work permits (RWPs) and other technical work documents (TWDs).
This targeted review was performed at Oak Ridge during the period of March 3-22, 2013. This report discusses the background, scope, methodology, results, and conclusions of the review, as well as items identified for further follow-up by Independent Oversight.
