This report documents the results of an independent review of the Department of Energy (DOE) Idaho National Laboratory's preparedness for severe natural phenomena events. The review was performed in April and May 2012 by the DOE Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security. The review evaluated the site's processes for identifying emergency response capabilities and maintaining them in a state of readiness in the event of a severe natural phenomenon event.
