Inspection of Nuclear Safety at the Savannah River Site Office and the Tritium Program Facilities
This report documents the results of an inspection of nuclear safety at several National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities located at Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site. The inspection was performed during August and September 2009 by the DOE Office of Independent Oversight’s Office of Environment, Safety and Health Evaluations, which is within the Office of Health, Safety and Security. The inspection was conducted to support site management in the execution of the site's mission involving the mixed-oxide fuel fabrication facility, currently under construction, and the Tritium Program nuclear facilities.
