Inspection of Reinforced Concrete Construction at the Savannah River Site Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility
This report provides the results of an inspection of nuclear safety at the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility construction project at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site. The inspection was performed during August and September 2009 by the DOE Office of Independent Oversight’s Office of Environment, Safety and Health Evaluations, which is within the Office of Health, Safety and Security. The inspection focused on construction quality, specifically for reinforced concrete, at the project.
