On July 12, 2007, the Secretary of Energy issued a Compliance Order to Los Alamos National Security, LLC requiring the contractor to implement specific corrective actions to address management deficiencies that contributed to a 2006 thumb drive security incident and broad corrective actions to address longstanding deficiencies in the classified information and cyber security programs at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
