On September 28, 2007, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Final Notice of Violation (EA-2007-02) to the University of California in accordance with 10 C.F.R. 824 for violations of the DOE 470.4 series of manuals related to the unauthorized downloading, reproduction, and removal of classified matter by an employee of a subcontractor at the Los Alamos National Laboratory that was discovered in October 2006.
