On October 13, 2011, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Health, Safety and Security's Office of Enforcement issued a Consent Order to URS Energy & Construction, Inc. associated with nuclear safety-related deficiencies in the contractor's corrective action management, quality improvement, and work control programs associated with the Sodium Bearing Waste Treatment Project at DOE's Idaho National Laboratory. The contractor agreed to the Consent Order.
