The Independent Oversight Program Appraisal Process Protocols describe the general concepts of the assessment process that are common across Office of Enterprise Assessments (EA) offices. Each EA office that performs independent oversight activities – the Office of Safeguards and Security Assessments; the Office of Cyber Assessments; and the Office of Environment, Safety and Health Assessments – also has office-specific methodologies and detailed assessment protocol(s)/process(es) that are available on EA’s web pages at Assessments InfoCenter | Department of Energy.
