Following President Donald J. Trump’s day one order to “unleash American Energy Dominance,” the Department of Energy announced earlier this week it ended the Biden administration's pause on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export permits and was returning the department to regular order. 

The announcement has been met with widespread praise from policymakers, industry leaders, and trade associations.
