This Operating Experience Summary (OES) is an overview of various metrics and indicators of DOE-wide injury/illness performance for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 with comparisons to previous years' performance data. FY 2024 showed 1,369 work-related injuries/illnesses were reported, a slight decrease of 165 cases from FY 23. Evaluation of injury and illness data is one of multiple variables that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of a safety and health program.
