October 2, 2024Join a special Hydrogen Week webinar on October 9, 2024, at 12 p.m. ET for a progress update on the Advanced Research on Integrated Energy Systems (ARIES) platform. ARIES is a visionary initiative launched by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. ARIES researchers are working to address challenges related to scaling up and integrating emerging energy technologies while maintaining performance and reliability.
An NREL research team of Jen Kurtz, Daniel Leighton, Jen King, and Kevin Harrison will highlight ARIES hydrogen research capabilities that include renewable hydrogen generation and energy systems integration, electrolysis, compression, storage, fuel cells, and modeling.
The presentation will also include an announcement to invite new Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) partnerships that will utilize these ARIES capabilities for innovative research on H2@Scale integration with electrolysis, hydrogen for industrial end uses, and translational proton exchange membrane and liquid alkaline electrolysis stacks.
This session will include a live presentation (45 minutes) followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
