This webinar presents an overview of the Defense Production Act Heat Pump Manufacturing Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). This includes how the FOA will invest in projects to expand domestic production capability of efficient electric heat pump systems, components, and materials in the United States, increase American usage of electric heat pumps to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels from adversaries, and strengthen U.S. energy security and national defense.
Find out how this funding could help scale up U.S. heat pump heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and water heating (WH) manufacturing; accelerate installation of high-efficiency electric heat pumps in homes, qualified buildings, and industrial settings; and complement investment coming through other Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provisions.
