WBA-23-0003 - In the Matter of Dalena Tripplet

On June 5, 2024, the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) issued an order denying Ms. Tripplet's ( Appellant) appeal of an OHA Administrative Judge's initial agency decision (IAD) under the Department of Energy's (DOE) Contractor Employee Protection Program, codified at Part 708 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (Part 708). The OHA Director found that the Administrative Judge properly concluded that Appellant failed to establish that she made a protected disclosure under Part 708, and therefore did not meet her burden to demonstrate that such a disclosure was a contributing factor in one or more acts of alleged retaliation by Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, LLC.
