Our team, Wildcat Wind Power, which started as a club in the College of Engineering at Kansas State University, has been a part of the U.S. Department of Energy's Collegiate Wind Competition (CWC) since 2014. Our team has since grown to include members from various colleges and departments at Kansas State University. This diversity has enabled our team to perform various aspects of the competition successfully, leading us to win first place overall in the 2022 and 2023 competitions.

Early on, we learned that word of mouth was an effective way for us to engage with other students on campus. This allows us to recruit dedicated team members and spread a clean energy vision for our community. We also find success by building on our past designs year after year to create the best turbine and team possible. We are very excited to continue educating our community and testing out our new ideas for the 2024 competition.
