Funding Applications Now Being Accepted for Fluid Dynamics Research

WETO is partnering with the National Science Foundation to fund research focused on fundamental fluid dynamics associated with wind energy. Topics of interest include aerodynamics of wind turbine blades and rotors, air/sea interactions and the impact of waves on offshore wind turbines, and technologies that characterize the ocean environment to inform wind energy design and operations. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
