Ms. Prather is a principal officer/ secretary-treasurer with the Teamsters Local 983. As the leader of the local union, she helps represent over 900 workers in Southeastern Idaho by negotiating and enforcing their contracts with employers. She has a passion for improving the lives of workers and their families in Idaho and is committed to finding the common ground between workers and employers. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Management with an emphasis in human resources management from Idaho State University and was selected as Airman of the year during her time as a staff Sgt. with the Montana Air National Guard. She currently serves as a Trustee on the UT/ID Teamsters Health Trust and the WA/ID Training Trust and volunteers her time as a coach for her kid’s sports teams.
