Katherine M. Donley is the Budget Director at the Department of Energy (DOE). Prior to this, she served for three years as the Deputy Director for External Coordination in the Budget Office. Before coming to DOE, Katie served for 12 years at the Department of Health and Human Services where she focused on policy and budget development at the international, intergovernmental, interagency and congressional levels. Katie also worked for the National Health Service in England for nearly four years doing public engagement. Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Virginia Tech, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
