Jessica Lauren Hernandez was a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of State and Community Energy Programs. Previously, she worked as a digital organizer for a non-profit organization and as a field organizer for the Biden–Harris campaign in Florida. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University. She is a first-generation immigrant originally from San Jose de las Lajas, Cuba.
