On December 15, 2022, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (WEA-2022-04) to Advanced Industrial Services, Inc., for violations of DOE’s Worker Safety and Health Program requirements (10 C.F.R. 851) associated with an abrasive blasting injury event that occurred at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
