On August 25, 2022, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments' Office of Enforcement issued Enforcement Letter WEL-2022-06 to Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC for deficiencies in implementing DOE’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 851) associated with an event involving a heat transfer fluid expulsion from the Thermal Energy Distribution System at the Idaho National Laboratory.
