The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) hosted its virtual 2021 Project Peer Review on March 8‒12, 15‒16, and 22‒26, 2021.
During the event, 271 projects in BETO’s research portfolio were presented, representing a total DOE investment of $662 million across 12 technology areas. Projects were systematically reviewed by 67 external subject matter experts from industry, academia, nonprofit, and government.
