Cincinnati –Today, the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) awarded a new contract to Neptune and Company, Incorporated (Neptune) of Lakewood, Colorado. This contract is jointly funded and managed by DOE and the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) to support Phase 2 decommissioning decision making for the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) and the Western New York Nuclear Service Center (WNYNSC) located in West Valley, New York.

This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract from which Firm-Fixed-Price and Time and Materials task orders are anticipated to be issued during the performance period. The contract is valued at up to $8 million over five years.

The contractor will support the DOE mission at WVDP and WNYNSC by performing the following services including, but not limited to the following: development of the probabilistic performance assessment (PPA) modeling and statistical decision analysis of proposed decommissioning alternatives to support Phase 2 decommissioning decision making.
