Deputy Director of Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization
The Deputy Director of Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization will lead a roughly $200 million portfolio of annual funding dedicated to decarbonizing the industrial sector. The Deputy will oversee several teams working on technologies and technical assistance to advance energy efficiency, electrification and low carbon fuels and feedstocks for energy-intensive industries and the broader industrial sector. The Deputy will provide independent, authoritative program management and policy development advice, guidance, and direction to the Department of Energy leadership, as well as to other Federal agencies, industry, and the private sector.

Deputy Director of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies
The Deputy Director of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies will lead a roughly $200 million portfolio of annual funding to develop new processes and materials for manufacturing of a diverse portfolio of clean energy technologies and to provide innovation in secure and sustainable materials and supply chains. The Deputy will oversee several teams working with the broad goal of supporting a net zero emission economy by 2050. The Deputy will be responsible for providing independent, authoritative program management and policy development advice, guidance, and direction to DOE leadership, as well as to other Federal agencies, industry, and the private sector.
