Rob Boehlecke
Rob Boehlecke has served as Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Program since 2017 and possesses more than 25 years of experience in the environmental restoration and waste management fields. As Program Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the safe, secure, and successful execution of several environmental cleanup missions at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and surrounding locations, including soil and infrastructure remediation, groundwater characterization, long-term monitoring, and radioactive waste management. The NNSS radioactive waste management program supports cleanup activities at federal sites involved in nuclear research, development, testing, and ongoing national security and science missions by providing a safe and secure disposal location for the Department’s low-level radioactive waste.
Boehlecke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Environmental Manager in the State of Nevada.
