National Infrastructure Protection Plan (2013) provides a risk management framework on how government and private sector participants in the critical infrastructure community collaborate to protect the critical infrastructure and resources essential to the Nation’s security. The DOE, as the SSA for the energy sector, is tasked with coordinating preparation of an Energy Sector-Specific Plan (SSP) that will serve as an annex to the DHS’s NIPP.
