DOE ordered Commercial Display Systems to pay a $48,318 civil penalty after Commercial Display had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of the noncompliant Commercial Display WICF basic models "LF2379, nhg" and "LC2367." The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Commercial Display.

On July 16, 2019, DOE issued a Notice of Noncompliance Determination to Commercial Display finding that the WICF basic models LF2379; LF2379, nhg; and LC2367 do not comply with applicable energy conservation standards based on DOE testing. Commercial Display provided DOE records showing the number of units Commercial Display distributed.
