FEMP announces new program director and supervisor for the Facility and Fleet Optimization team.
Federal Energy Management Program
January 9, 2019The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) recently welcomed a new program director and a supervisor.
Dr. Robert Ivester
Dr. Robert Ivester joined FEMP as the program director. Prior to joining FEMP, Rob served in the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) for six years. During that time, AMO launched five Manufacturing USA Institutes, the Critical Materials Hub, and hundreds of small research and development and technical assistance projects across the nation. He also worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology for more than 16 years, leading and performing research in advanced manufacturing.

Jay Wrobel
Jay Wrobel also joined FEMP as the supervisor for the Facility and Fleet Optimization team. Over the past five years, Jay served as the manager of technical assistance for AMO, overseeing major programs that help industry reduce energy use, increase competitiveness, and develop trained workforces.
