Deadline for Submitting Comments on Proposed Procedures for Conducting Electric Transmission Congestion Studies Extended to October 24, 2018

In preparation for the 2019 congestion study, DOE published a Notice of “Procedures for Conducting Electric Transmission Congestion Studies” in the Federal Register in August 2018 and requested written comments by October 9, 2018. DOE is now extending the comment period by fifteen days. Written comments must now be received on or before October 24, 2018. If you wish to file comments in response to the Federal Register notice, please e-mail them to [email protected] or send them to the Office of Electricity, OE-20, U.S. Department of Energy, 1000 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC 20585. All comments received by DOE regarding the congestion study will be available on the OE website for public review after the comment period ends.
