A member of AMO’s Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI), Oshkosh recently announced its plan to locate a manufacturing facility in Tennessee, which is expected to add 300 jobs in the area. Now in its third year of operations, IACMI continues to drive innovation and job growth in Tennessee’s composites industry.

This year's Energy Exchange and Better Buildings Summit features tours of the nearby manufacturing facilities of two Better Plants partners: ArcelorMittal and PPG. Participants will receive a firsthand look at these partners' manufacturing processes and innovative energy efficiency practices.

Innovation Crossroads Cohort 3 Informational Webinar — August 9

AMO’s Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program, Innovation Crossroads, is hosting an informational webinar on August 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. EDT to discuss the program details and the application process.

Innovation Crossroads is a two-year, entrepreneurial fellowship for postdoctoral researchers, scientists, and engineers at DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The program gives fellows the opportunity to leverage the facilities and capabilities at ORNL to help move their innovative ideas from the laboratory to the private sector.
