NOTICE OF INTENT: Energy-Water Desalination Hub
This future Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will support the establishment of an Energy Innovation Hub in the area of Energy-Water Desalination (referred to as the “Hub”) to accelerate transformational advances in science and engineering focused on reducing the energy and cost requirements of desalination to provide clean and safe water. The Hub will include highly collaborative research teams, spanning multiple scientific, engineering, and where appropriate, economic and public policy disciplines.
The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy plans to issue the FOA in July 2018.

WORKSHOP: There’s Still Time to Register for AMO’s Advanced Energy Materials Workshop
On July 12, 2018, AMO and the Materials for Energy and Sustainable Development Group at the National Institutes of Standards and Technology are co-sponsoring a workshop on the discovery and process design of advanced energy materials in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
