DEADLINE: Innovation Crossroads Entrepreneurship Program – Oct. 30
Applications for the second cohort of Innovation Crossroads (IC), a two-year post-doctoral research program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), are due Monday, October 30, 2017.
DOE plans to select up to five post-doctoral innovators to join IC. Benefits to cohort members include: fellowship stipends for up to two years, including travel and health benefits; R&D funding support to be used in collaboration with ORNL researchers; and business mentorship, entrepreneurial training, and introductions to potential partners. Applications for the fourth cohort of the Cyclotron Road, a two-year post-doctoral research program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, are due Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
DOE plans to select up to six post-doctoral innovators to join Cyclotron Road. Applicants may apply to this merit based opportunity either individually or as a team. However, successful applicants will be selected based on their individual merits. View the solicitation and submission instructions.
On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, the United States Department of Energy (DOE) celebrated 40 years of ensuring America’s security and prosperity. In celebration, DOE held a Forty Years of Energy Innovation event in Washington, D.C. hosted by Energy Secretary Rick Perry.
