PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Lime Energy and partners will implement an energy efficiency service delivery model for small and medium businesses in low-income communities. Target cities are: Buffalo, New York; Houston, Texas; Orlando, Florida; and Memphis, Tennessee. Completing over 1,000 retrofits featuring a performance guarantee and meter-validated savings.
PROJECT IMPACT
Lime Energy will engage with 10,000 small businesses and complete 2,500 customer projects. Retrofits will generate of $3 million in annual utility savings for local businesses reducing greenhouse gases by 17,239 tons of CO2e and creating permanent energy savings totaling 25,000 MWh. This project will create 60 incremental jobs and generate $30 million in economic activity.
