The Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) invites you to review the Multi-Year Program Plan and send your feedback and comments to [email protected] by February 10, 2017.

AMO’s draft Multi-Year Program Plan (MYPP) sets forth the mission, goals, and plan of the Office. This MYPP is intended for use as an operational guide to help AMO manage and coordinate its activities, as well as a resource to help communicate its priorities and opportunities to stakeholders and the public by identifying the technology, outreach, and crosscutting activities the Office plans to focus on over the next five years.

The Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) will host its eight annual Energy Innovation Summit from February 27, 2017–March 1, 2017 in National Harbor, Maryland. More than 2,200 participates are expected to attend and discuss cutting-edge energy issues and cultivate relationships with leaders from industry, government and academia to advance technologies towards deployment.

Energy Department Introduces New Financing Navigator for Energy Efficiency Projects

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative introduced a new, web-based financing navigator to help private and public sector organizations discover financing solutions for energy efficiency projects that meet their unique needs. Through the Better Buildings Financing Navigator, building owners, facility and energy managers, and other decision-makers can connect with financiers, including banks and financial institutions, to pursue energy-saving measures.

DOE Releases Enhanced Database Tool for Renewables and Energy Efficiency Incentives

Operated by the N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center at NC State University and funded by the Department of Energy, the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency® (DSIRE) is a comprehensive source of information on incentives and policies that support renewables and energy efficiency in the United States.

This interactive tool can be used to find customized policies and incentive programs for energy users to capitalize on, on the local, state, and regional level due to the integration from the State Incentives and Resources database (SIR).
