Targeted Review of Work Planning and Control at the Hanford Tank Farms
The Office of Worker Safety and Health Assessments, within the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) independent Office of Enterprise Assessments (EA), within the Office of Environment, Safety and Health Assessments conducted an independent review of work planning and control at the Hanford Tank Farms. EA conducted the onsite portion of its review during October 20-23 and November 3-6, 2014. The review is part of a larger-scale targeted assessment of activity-level work planning and control across the DOE complex, including National Nuclear Security Administration sites.
