The Office of Emergency Management Assessments, within the U.S. Department of Energy’s independent Office of Enterprise Assessments, performed an Independent Oversight review to evaluate the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) preparedness for responding to a hazardous material event and to assess Y-12’s compliance with DOE Order 151.1C, Comprehensive Emergency Management System. This review was performed during June 17 – July 10, 2014.
