January 31, 2022The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed August 12, 2019 by Blue Water Fuels, LLC (Blue Water Fuels), requesting long-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically-produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 51.75 billion cubic feet of natural gas for a period of twenty years commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or five (5) years from the date the requested authorization is granted. Blue Water Fuels requests authorization to export LNG from the Port Allen NuBlu Energy Facility in Port Allen, Louisiana and the Ehrenberg Spectrum LNG Facility in Ehrenberg, Arizona, to any country which has, or in the future develops, the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going vessels or by use of approved IMO7/TVAC-ASME LNG containers transported on ocean-going containers vessels and with which trade is not prohibited by U.S. law or policy (NFTANs). Blue Water Fuels requests this authorization on its own behalf and as agent for other parties who hold title to the LNG at the time of export. A Federal Register Notice will not be published.
