On May 23, 2018, Pivotal LNG, Inc. requested an advisory opinion from DOE regarding the application of the Natural Gas Act to shipments of LNG to be delivered to the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, pursuant to a solicitation issued by the Defense Logistics Agency. DOE responded by letter dated July 16, 2018.
