This EA evaluates DOE's proposal to provide partial funding to the Sunflower Electric Power Corporation (Sunflower), to demonstrate the commerical application of Low-NOx Burner/Separated Over-Fire Air (LNB/SOFA) integration system to achieve NOx emission reduction to the level of 0.15 to 0.22 pounds per million British thermal units (lb/MM Btu).
